ARCHITECTS, INC. is an optimum-sized architectural and consulting organization.  The firm provides complete architectural and engineering services from the initial preliminary design phase through design development to the construction document phase through construction administration of the final project with a commitment to provide creative designs based upon sound knowledge of the proposed building elements.  

MARTIN & CO. ARCHITECTS, INC. is a goal-structured organization specializing in programmatic analysis, existing condition problem seeking and design problem solving.  Traditionally, this applied methodology results in functional and cost-effective solutions for the client. And as LEED accredited professionals, we understand the impact of today’s design decisions on our future.   

At MARTIN & CO. ARCHITECTS, INC., our experienced staff of three to five professionals ensures our clients receive direct services a small business can provide, allowing us to respond quickly and efficiently to the client needs.  Our organizational structure reflects large firm knowledge with smaller firm overhead. Therefore, a greater percentage of our hourly rate fee is applied to project production in lieu of operating costs.

  Larry S. Martin is a seasoned professional with over 42 years of experience in architecture and has been in private practice in Radford, Virginia since 1984. 

  In July 2015, MARTIN & CO. ARCHITECTS, INC. interviewed and successfully received our third consecutive 5-year term contract with JMU, allowing our company the opportunity to continue our strong working relationship with James Madison University.
